Virtual Assistant Policy

1. Definitions

Platform: The website and application operated by BizBuddies that provides an online marketplace for buyers and sellers.

• User: Any individual or entity that uses the Platform.

• Buyer: A User who purchases goods or services on the Platform.

• Seller: A User who sells goods or services on the Platform.

• Virtual Assistant: A type of service provided by Users (Sellers) who offer administrative, technical, or creative assistant to Buyers remotely.

2. Account Registration

2.1. Users must create an account to use certain features of the Platform.

2.2. Users must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

2.3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

3. Use of the Platform

3.1. Users agree to use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

3.2. Users shall not:

• Engage in any fraudulent or illegal activities.

• Misrepresent the nature or quality of goods or services.

• Interfere with the operation of the Platform.

4. Buying and Selling

4.1. Buyers may purchase goods or services, including virtual assistant services, from Sellers on the Platform.

4.2. Sellers must accurately describe their goods or services and are responsible for fulfilling orders.

4.3. Transactions on the Platform are binding. Buyers must pay for goods or services purchased, and Sellers must deliver the goods or services as described.

5. Payments

5.1. The Platform uses third-party payment processors. Users must comply with the terms and conditions of these payment processors.

5.2. The Platform may charge fees for certain transactions. These fees will be clearly disclosed to Users.

6. Virtual Assistant Services

6.1. Sellers offering virtual assistant services must provide a detailed description of the services they offer.

6.2. Buyers must provide clear instructions and requirements for virtual assistant services.

6.3. Virtual assistant services are provided remotely, and the Platform is not responsible for the quality or outcome of these services.

8. Disputes and Cancellations

8.1. Users should attempt to resolve disputes directly with each other.

8.2. The Platform may assist in dispute resolution but is not obligated to do so.

8.3. Cancellation policies may vary depending on the Seller. Users should review and understand the cancellation policies before making a purchase.

8.4 Dispute Resolution Process. In the event of disputes between Virtual Assistants and Buyers/Sellers, the following process will apply: BizBuddies will act as a mediator to review transaction details and communication logs. Resolutions may include refunds, work revision requests, or other actions. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to binding arbitration under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) rules.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Users retain ownership of content they post on the Platform but grant the Platform a license to use, display, and distribute such content.

9.2. Users may not post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

9.3 Virtual Assistant Confidentiality Obligations. Virtual Assistants must not disclose confidential information obtained during their work with Buyers or Sellers. Breach of this obligation may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.

9.4 Virtual Assistant Role in Reporting Product Damages. VAs must ensure that damage reports include detailed photographs and descriptions of the issue, which are then shared with both the buyer and seller. BizBuddies will hold VAs accountable for any failure to report damages accurately, which may affect liability determinations for disputes.

10. Termination

10.1. The Platform may terminate or suspend a User’s account for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at its discretion.

10.2. Users may terminate their accounts by contacting customer support.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BizBuddies is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform.

12. Changes to the Terms

BizBuddies may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12.1 Termination of Virtual Assistant Services. BizBuddies may terminate a Virtual Assistant’s account without prior notice if: They violate any platform policies. Fraudulent or abusive behavior is detected. Misuse of user data or client information is reported.

13. Governing Law

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution. This Policy shall be governed by and construed under Singapore law. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall be resolved through arbitration under the SIAC rules, with Singapore as the seat of arbitration.
